Neighbours- Dirty Linen

Sometimes events happen which mean that we unfortunately have to miss an episode of Neighbours. It's a sad, sad occasion when this happens. Poor Felix had to miss today's episode so, good friend that I am, I recapped it for her.

Enjoy all!

Kim is on his way to work (God knows where…) and Janelle comes out, calling him "Kimbo". WTF?? Anyways, he’s all like "oh I have to go to work," and she’s all "oh but I have work for you to do around the house"… i.e. her. So yeah, they’re being icky. They end up having sex in his van. Boyd watches from the window… Lou watches from his window… ugh…

Anyways, Sky and Lou are all worried about Harold. He’s been out all night at the mission with Connor! The mission is obviously a cover up and Harold and Connor have really been shacked up in some seedy motel. Sky asks what’s going on between the two of them and Lou says they’re just out helping peeps… Sky says she can handle that, but that they’re virtually joined at the hip. Harold and Connor haven’t managed to hide their affair very well have they? Also, how can she say that in front of Lou- he’ll only get jealous.

Then the conversation moves on to Dylan. Sky still hasn’t been to see him… he loves her, blah blah blah, she has no future with him, blah blah blah, she can’t bear to see him to tell him that…. Who really gives a damn? Anyways, Lou tells her to go see him.

Back to the Timminses. Janae is making a box of stuff to take to Dylan and Scott in prison… it consists of chocolate and magazines… then Boyd adds a photo of the Timmins family… ooh! Score! All the other inmates are going to be dead jealous!

Harold comes home. Sky and Lou are concerned. Connor is still at the mission. Harold says of him, "the young fella’s quite remarkable"… if we go back to the assumption that they were in a motel then that proclamation just doesn’t bear thinking about. Lou is also not comfortable with Harold saying this, as he pulls a face. I think we’re supposed to think that Lou is thinking something along the lines of "oh no, it’s not good for Harold to be getting so attached when he’s not grieving properly." Really Lou is thinking, "no! NO! But I love Harold! Love me Harold! LOVE ME!!!!!"

Sky tells Lou that she’s worried that Harold isn’t grieving properly. No-one in Erinsborough fucking did!!!

Kim pulls a sickie so he can have more sex with Janelle. Janae is moody with them… as would any teenager be when your parents have had sex in the van in full view of the street and then continue to be all gross around the house in front of your boyfriend.

Paul comes in, wearing a lovely pale shade of pink… manly! He tells Janelle and Kim that he thinks he’s got the boys out of jail and tells them what he’s done. Kim is suspicious of Paul’s motives (quite rightly seeing a Paul is a lying, cheating, evil, peg-legged scumbag.) He doesn’t like the fact that Paul bribed Roo. Janelle doesn’t give a shit and just wants her boys home so she tells Kim to shut up… well actually she just convinces him that everything’s ok… but my version is better.

Roo and Dylan have a fight. Roo has weird eyebrows. Dylan tells Roo that dobbing him in was the best thing he’s ever done. Roo now knows that it wasn’t actually Paul and that Paul has PLAYED HIM FOR A FOOL!!!

Janae is buying magazines from the General Store for her prison package. Sky is there and Janae bitches about Sky not going to see Dylan. Boyd tries to get her to stop.

Sky sees an article in the paper saying that Tony Corbett is dead and that he was responsible for the bomb on the plane. This therefore means it’s kinda Paul’s fault as Tony was after him. She says this to Harold to try to get him to show some emotion but he just rises above it all and says he’s not out for revenge and stuff and just gets angry at Sky.

Stingray’s panicking in the jail cell about Roo. Dylan gets taken away to solitary because of the fight.

Janelle and Kim are all kissy on the sofa… I can’t put up with much more of this. Surely if they’re so happy that means they’ll die soon… just like the Bishops!

Janae can’t visit the prison because it’s in lockdown. If that’s cos of Dylan and Roo’s fight/rolling around on the floor then that’s just pathetic!

Lou tells Harold that he’s not showing his grief. Harold tells Lou to mind his own business or get out. Harold obviously just wants his lovenest with Connor to be more private. He also says he’ll kick Sky out if she keeps meddling. Lou says that’s going too far and that just he will leave, but he’s always there for Harold if he needs him. Feel the love! Harold’s having none of it though, cos he’s got everything he needs in the Bible. ‘Cept Connor…

Paul sees Lou leaving and offers him a place to stay rent-free in an apartment he has. Um, what appartment? Since when? But anyway, we have no need for the set designers to whip up a new place pronto because Lou refuses. He leaves and then Sky yells at Paul and tells him that she blames him for the death of her family. So we have him to thank then!

Janelle, Kim, Janae and Boyd are in prison visiting Scott and Dylan. The boys come up. Dylan has bruises on his face from his "fight" with Roo. Although I say bruises, they look more like he’s smeared pink highlighter on his face.

They tell the boys about Paul’s plan. Dylan realises he’s messed it up by fighting with Roo and confessing that he dobbed him in.

We end with Roo and his prison buddies intimidating Scott and Dylan.

That's all folks!

*-::SPECHAL REPORT FROM LE FUTURES::-*

Well there are gonna be some pretty shifty-looking new opening credits, in which Sky is DEVOID of a waist.

In other news, Connor is slowly becoming flabbier, and hairier. Some even believe that he is turning... into TOADIE!

:O

Sky and Izzy appear to be wearing the same red top in the opening credits... which is funny seeing as they HATE EACH OTHER!

Today was the funeral of the Bishops family. David, Lil and Serena all DEAD. Whilst the majority of us rejoice at this, you would expect that their family and friends would be, I don't know, just a tad upset at least!

I don't think anyone cried. Sky did for a bit before the funeral but at the funeral Karl was the closest to tears and he wasn't exactly close to any of the Bishops!

I don't understand why throughout this whole plane crash storyline nobody has seemed really upset. WHY DON'T THEY CRY!?!?!

Wow Sky looks ROUGH in that picture of her on the paper.

Has anybody spotted Mr. Joe Skully on that amazing Sheila's Wheels advert?

"For ladies who insure their cars, Sheila's wheels are superstars!"
